"My Pink Toile design is inspired by antique French Toile de Jouy, which is often seen printed on fabrics and wallpapers. The design was originally created for my own range of wallpapers, but the pattern lends itself very well to many different surfaces, which is why we have decided to create this Pink Toile ceramic platter.

The characters are painted using just one colour, with details being painted and layered in different shades. It is a playful and modern twist on the traditional Toile design, with scenes informed by memories of growing up. The characters and motifs are ever present within all of my work - particularly the Whippet running with a Tulip!"
